¤ The Auvryarn Legacy ¤

This story and its characters are very dear to me; as are all the people who helped create it and them through over a decade of roleplaying. It's funny to think it all really started with a friend (who would eventually become Sedia's father) asking me to create a new character with him and move to a new server of the game Ultima Online. One randomly generated name and picture later, there was Sedia.

I was just starting to learn about and get into roleplay at that point. I had been playing a character, who eventually became Sedia's mother, for several months but she was a rather flat character until a short time before I created Sedia. She was just a typical elf ranger who got caught up in elf-dragon-ophidian politics (this was an in-game storyline). Rather than create a "character profile" like I had done with her mother, I let Sedia grow out of the symbolic nature of her creation and interactions with in-game storylines and other player characters. Eventually, she became something I could have never imagined and something I would have been unable to create without the wonderful people who populated the world around her. I may have moved on from Ultima but I will always remember it fondly for the people and the environment that taught me so much. I hope that this site shows her deep history while allowing those who know her to reminisce.

Now, before reading, you'll need at least a small understanding of Ultima Online. Many of the places, terms, and happenings are directly related to the game and might confuse people who don't know of it. All the information can be easily looked up though, so it might be a good idea to have a reference page on hand so you can follow everything.

Also, Sedia's story truly began on the Paradyce shard [aka server] (although I had played her mother on others before that while I was looking for one I liked) and was further (aka mostly) developed on the Valhalla Lost shard. Since the Paradyce shard utilized the same map as regular UO just with different city names, I decided to combined the two and just added it as part of her time in Britannia (again, look it up if you don't know the game).

I hope everyone enjoys the story and all the wonderful characters! And if something doesn't make sense feel free to ask! And, if you want to troll or flame or anything of that nature, sorry but I don't care. All of my character's stories were created through many, many years of roleplay with many, many different kinds of people and there is a reason, and a history, for everything that I attribute to them (whether you like those reasons or not I don't give a damn). However, I know that no amount of really anything is going to appease you jackasses who think a powerful or non-human or tragic past or detailed history or whatever character automatically means a bad character so please just don't waste my time.
