Action Flipz
Information About this Set
The flipz are called Action Flipz because they're animated, containing two different pictures and the one you see depends on which way you hold the card. They're like the Lenticular cards from the second Dart Flip set, Prismatic. The 40 regular cards, along with the 3D Chase cards, are printed on thick card stock with a plastic top. The stickers, prism stickers, and silver-etched cards are made on a much lighter and delicate paper. The cards all have similar backs, but in different colors to distinguish the various parts of the set. You get one regular sticker or chase card per pack, so it's fairly easy to get a complete set in a box. The album holds 144 cards back to back or 72 normally.

| Buying and Selling |
These cards may seem to be expensive and/or rare but they actually aren't. Boxes can cost as little as $15.00. The regular stickers are the cheapest of this set and, of course, the 3D rare is the most expense as it is extremely hard to find. And I do mean that as it is the harest North American card to find. You don't see many individual cards go up for sale on places like ebay though, mostly just complete sets of 40 regs. If you are looking for a specific card then it is best to do a search and find an individual trader or seller. I recommended that if your starting this set to just buy a box. You will more than likely get a complete set of both regular cards and regular sticker cards, along with several of the other chase cards. Buying the box also gives you several wrappers and gift inserts (not to mention the box itself). The album is not that expensive, but finding it still in its bag is pretty rare. |
| Best Storage |
The collection binder is best as it comes with sheets perfectly fit to hold the cards. However, there are protective sheets that fit these cards perfectly well. The protective sheets you want to look for are sheets that hold 20 2" x 2" cards. These sheets are usually used to hold photo slides, pogs, or other small items. For the wrapper and gift insert, they will fit any standard size protective sheets that hold 9 standard size cards. You will have to fold the wrapper a bit, but it will not effect the overall picture. The box can be stored as is or it can be broken down and stored in a protective sheet that has one 8 ½" x 11" slot, this works for the binder bag as well. These are all available at BCW Supplies. |
