For right now there will be nothing in here save the answer to the question I am sure everyone is wondering: What exactly is Ascension Cepheids about?....*Note: Please forgive this horrid summary lol as I wrote it in five minutes at like 3am...but I needed to put something here so for now it will do. But a better one will come later.*

In the beginning there was one all powerful being (First) who created the universe and before we as a people were ever created by the dust, Evil (a being that formed in the beginning) took hold and began to throw off the balance of creation. Good was created as a balance but Evil took this as a challenge and so a great battled ensude. This battle lead to the creation of the planets and all beings.

As time past, Good saw that if something didn't change drastically than Evil would gain control because Good was not willing to follow the same path and use the same tactics. So Good helped what would become the royal family 'ascend' the Cepheids to fight the minions that Evil had unleashed on the world.

Eventually, the Cepheids grew powerful enough to seal away Evil in a place where it could not harm others. Evil, however, did not go quietly and tried to take the whole of Eden (Earth's first name) with it. Evil would have successed as well if not for the Astrals giving up their magic (essentially their lives) as an entire race to keep the magical world connected with the physical one.

Eden was save only by a thread of magic and became a world adrift in the dust while the Earth as we know it today developed. No one had any idea of the past, ghosts and other strange occurences were explained away and no one could imagine there true origins.

Yet in Eden these things were common place and so was the reappearance of Evil every time it found away to break free from its prison. But this time Evil developed a more sinsister plan, this time it found a way to break into our world.

The Cepheids were not reborn in Eden, but rather in the physical world as ordinary women. The long forgotten past was forcibly revealed to those they wanted no contact with and now must depend on. Those on Earth not only discovered that there really are monsters in the darkness, but also that they are not the masters of their world, they are a second evolution.

The war that has always been fought is now given new ground to soak in blood. These new Cepheids must not only learn how to cope as saviors of two very distinct worlds, but also how to accomplish sealing away Evil itself and maintain a seemingly normal life.

This is no 'good always preveals' battle. People will die and anything that can be broken will be shattered. Which would you choose: save the whole of creation or save your eternal soul?
